Breast uplift with breast enlargement

This patient complained of droopiness and emptiness of her breasts after pregnancy.  She sought enhancement of her size as well as a limited breast uplift to improve her nipple position.  With a "limited breast uplift" our goal is to only raise the position of the nipple and areola a small amount while enhancing the patient's fullness with a saline or silicone breast implant .  This works well when your breast is primarily empty and only a little droopy.   Please note the healed incisions around this patient's areolae on the bottom photo.

Notice on these close-up photos the healed incisions around the perimeter of the patient's areolae.  They are never invisible and in different individuals will possibly stretch, discolor or thicken either temporarily or possibly permanently.  The advantage of this "limited breast uplift" for appropriate candidates is the lack of the vertical incision and the keyhole pattern incisions required in more aggressive uplifts.  This procedure works well for the patient with empty and only mildly droopy breasts.
