	Male Neck Lift (Direct Necklift)
	Plastic surgery for men including necklift surgery is quite different from plastic surgery for women. The thickness of male skin, the presence of a beard and other factors that affect healing lead to the option of "Direct Neck Lift" plastic surgery in our Beverly Hills plastic surgery office. Men who do not want to undergo a facelift but are bothered by droopy neck skin ("turkey gobbler") can have a direct necklift without undergoing a full facelift. The tradeoff for a fairly dramatic result is the presence of incision lines in the neck that are usually not noticed by others but are potentially visible. Below are photos of a physician in his 50's who underwent the procedure of male Direct Neck Lift with injection of his own fat into his cheeks. Under the photos are his thoughts and comments regarding the surgery. The last set of photos show his result 18 months after the necklift procedure was performed.


	This is a 56 year old professional man who was very dissatisfied with his appearance due to a severe “turkey neck”. He wanted to be seen not as an old appearing man with a turkey neck but as the young and vital and dynamic man he really was/is . . . filled with ginger and unending, overflowing love, passion and energy. “Dr. Perlman you did an unbelievable job on my anterior neck excision and cheek fat injections, my outside appearance is now congruous with the person I really am. You truly made me happy!!!!!!! . . . . I am very thankful and indebted to you!” The photographs below were taken 18 months after the surgery. The incision lines continue to fade.
