Facelift,
eyelid surgery(blepharoplasty), necklift and browlift surgery.

Facelift surgery is often performed to reverse the droopiness of skin
affecting the eyelids, cheeks and neck. Notice how much more
rested, alert and energized the patients appear in their photos taken
before and after their facelift procedures. Often, patients undergoing facial
plastic surgery state that they perceive their new appearance as better
reflecting their perception of how they feel about themselves inside!
Beverly Hills Facelift Specialist Dr. Jon Perlman believes strongly in techniques that hide the incision lines
and make them as minimally detectable as possible, giving his patients
the best chance for a long lasting and natural appearance from their
plastic surgery procedures. Modern day facelift techniques include
not only skin tightening, but lifting of the cheekpad and the SMAS in
the face, and tightening of the platysma muscle in the neck. All
of our facial plastic surgery procedures are performed in our accredited
and certified outpatient operating facility here in Beverly Hills,
California.
Dr. Perlman also combines facelift and necklift with restoration of
facial volume through the use of fat grafting. Fat can be
transferred from other areas of the body to the cheek prominences, cheek
hollows, lips and/or the nasolabial lines (between the nose and the
corner of the mouth) in appropriate patients to soften the skin and
improve facial contour. This reverses much of the hollowing of the
face that occurs with aging as fat is lost in the cheek areas and
increases in the jowl and neck areas.
All of our Los Angeles & Beverly Hills facelift patients spend at least one night after plastic
surgery in a surgical aftercare facility located near our Beverly Hills
office to assist in the early recovery process. We will help you
in making any necessary arrangements.
Facelifts generally require 2-3 weeks away from work to allow for
resolution of swelling and a more natural and presentable appearance.
Bruising is significantly diminished or avoided with the use of fibrin
glue at the end of your plastic surgery before the final sutures are
placed. This also reduces swelling after your facelift!
