Dan underwent an "Extreme Makeover" on the ABC Network TV show, including plastic surgery, dental restoration, makeup and hair. Dr. Jon Perlman was invited to perform the plastic surgical procedures for Dan on this show.

Dan's Extreme Makeover was designed to create a more angular face and lean body for Dan. His Beverly Hills plastic surgery makeover was aimed at making him appear more like the "leading man" that he envisioned himself to one day become! Dan accomplished a 25 lb weight loss through diet and exercise that contributed to his overall improved appearance and health.

Dan had fat removed from his cheeks (via liposuction and buccal fat pad removal) and from his neck. His neck area required liposuction and surgical removal of fat from beneath his platysma muscle. Dan also had a chin implant inserted at the time of his surgery at out accredited Beverly Hills facility.
